On the 9th November, we have planned for our next container shipment to Zimbabwe to begin its journey. This container is expected to arrive in Zimbabwe in the middle of January 2021. We are back to using our standard size pallets so 30 boxes can fit on instead of 24 on a Euro sized pallet.
The pallets will be distributed to various schools in the Bulawayo area. This is a repeat of our 2017 project with Collin Nyabadza Children's Voice Charitable Trust with our books benefitting approximately 30,000 children and teachers.
Hopefully, the next container load will also make such a big difference to the next lot of recipients.
We also plan to select and pack a pallet load of books after partnering with a London charity. They will be adding our books to their own pallets and organising the shipment to a school near Harare in Zimbabwe. Although the school will certainly benefit they also plan for it to act as a local library so the books will be made available to everyone in their surrounding community.
