Sierra Leone 2019

Our Sierra Leone Container arrived at the port at the end of August.

As it had rained there for over 2 weeks some containers were seen floating in the port but fortunately for us it wasn’t our one.

Jack of Educaid will now arrange to distribute the books to 14 individual schools, plus a Teacher training college with 100 teachers attending.  We are hoping that each teacher will be able to take some books back to their school after their training is complete.

The books are mainly readers and library type books to help encourage the children to read in the English language.

The   photo below shows the container being unloaded at Port Loko before some pallets head to the Lumley area.
