As mentioned in our last newsletter we said that the Sri Lankan delivery was being delivered to various schools and organisations. We have now received a thank you letter from one of these organisations: Uduvil Public Library. It has taken a lot of time and effort but finally, our shipment to SriLanka, which arrived in December, has been distributed to various schools and organisations in the country. As usual, the recipients are very grateful for the donations and hope that we can send more in the future.
We are pleased to announce that Our Zimbabwe shipment arrived safely in Bulawayo and was unloaded on the 17th of February. These deliveries are very welcome as shown by this extract from the thank you: "Once again thank you very much to Books Abroad and all its partners for the wonderful consignment of books that has so much potential in alleviating poverty through education."
