As mentioned in our last newsletter we said that the Sri Lankan delivery was being delivered to various schools and organisations. We have now received a thank you letter from one of these organisations: Uduvil Public Library. This quote from a thank you letter illustrates how important and how well appreciated these deliveries are.
“They will be a valued addition to our newly expanded Children Library Unit. Currently, we are struggling with a shortage of books for Children and Young adults. We do not have much selection here in Sri Lanka. Your timely gift will be processed immediately and will be added to our library Sections.
We are also planning an Exhibition of the books we have received from Books Abroad in the Library Auditorium.”
