Here is an update on what has been happening recently and some of our upcoming plans. We will give you more detailed news on these shipments at a later date. Our Sri Lankan container is due to arrive in Colombo at Christmas after delays at Rotterdam and our Zimbabwe container is due to arrive in late January 2021. Volunteers are now packing for our Caribbean container
A Banff couple recently helped us to deliver more books to Read for Kids in Ghana. They each took a suitcase half filled with books which were gratefully received.
Books Abroad received a lovely letter from Juliet Gladys Osafo, Director of the Juliet Johnson School Complex, Ghana thanking us for the excellent books we had sent. She said that the books had made an excellent difference to the lives of the children especially those who had not had much to read.
