40th Anniversary

The charity held a 40th Anniversary celebratory BBQ in the grounds of Druminnor Castle near Rhynie on 9th October 2022. Obituaries

Steve Read We are sorry to inform you all of the sad news that Steve Read  has died in Zanzibar on the 15th July 1952. Life rarely brings us someone as unique as our past Chairman, Steve Read, and we feel fortunate to have known him. He served as a volunteer, trustee and Chairman at Books Abroad. He introduced our present chairman, Vinay Ruparella, to Books Abroad.
