Instead of having its usual stall outside in the Square, Books Abroad will this year have a pop-up shop in the old Cruickshank's building in Huntly Square on the day of the Hairst (Saturday 1st September) - come along to browse,  buy, or find out more about our work!

The 36th Annual General Meeting of Books Abroad will be held on Wednesday 5th September 2018 at 7.00 pm in No. 14, The Square, Rhynie.  Light refreshments will be provided.  All welcome.

Books Abroad SCIO will be holding a Coffee Morning at Banff Parish Church on Saturday 22nd September from 10 am to 12 noon  - details to follow.

2020 Chair Art Poster The last ever Tarland Chair Art Exhibition will be held on 12-20 September. The proceeds will be shared between Books Abroad and the Forget Me Not Club. Chairs have to be in by 11 September. Further details from davidcurrie201@gmail.com or visit www.aberdeenchairart.org.

We will have a stall selling books - lots of bargains for cookery and gardening books to be had.

An outdoor Festival of Faith and Unity for all ages, families and denominations to be held in Gordon Castle in Fochabers and we will have a Book stall.
