The Chandi Parivar Charitable Trust in Kenya has a school for the blind and they desperately need a thermal embosser. As we will be supporting the Trusts other schools with donations of books it would be great if we could provide the blind school with this much needed piece of equipment. If anyone could donate a new or secondhand one please contact the office on 01464 861446. As we will be visiting the school in October we would be able to get some publicity photos for any potential donor.

We were delighted to welcome Pam Chandi to Rhynie last week. As a Trustee of the Chandi Parivar Charitable Trust, Pam was over to help us select books for the schools she supports in Mombasa. http://cpctrust.org

She certainly proved to be an inspirational lady who helped to reinvigorate the enthusiasm of all the volunteers who met her !

We have received 2 great articles by Malcolm Hodgson about his first visit and experiences of life in Gambia. The articles are 'The Gambia & it's people - Our impressions' and 'The Strand School'. He has also kindly sent us some photos for all to see.
