This is a letter we received recently from W. A. Davis to thank us for the wonderful books that has been donated to us and sent to them.
Thanks to everyone who has donated books to us.
Copied from the email:
Dear Steve,
I am sorry it has taken me this long to write to you. As they say better late than never, right? J
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and everyone at Books Abroad for the invaluable support they have given us. The books you donated are being used by our Students, teachers and parents. If you all remember the time you donated the books to our school we were a primary school with 480 students of Pre KG to Grade 8. Currently our school has reached secondary level of Education and we have 647 students, the same books you donated in 2003 are being used by our students of Pre KG to Grade 10.
The fact that the books you sent us had very wide variety has helped our children to develop interest in leisure reading which is beyond the traditional reference reading. It is my belief that Books Abroad has helped our school in more ways than one and these same books you gave us will be used for many years to come. Education of the youth can only be guaranteed through the relentless efforts of good people like all of you at Books Abroad. Please do come and visit us but till such a time comes enjoy these pictures I took this morning while our students were actively using the library, by the way I had written you an email about a year ago but I haven’t received a reply.
Yours truly,
W. A. Davis
