Books Abroad aims to help an educational establishment in need, from any country in the world, which asks for support.
We aim to collect the best quality, relevant second hand books and send them free of charge by the best route we can find. We have established partnerships with various organisations in different countries which support our work and aim to get book deliveries distributed quickly and easily.
To receive books for your educational establishment, there are a few terms and conditions we kindly request you adhere to, in order to ensure books arrive safely and to help us maintain or improve our level service.
In the first instance, we ask you to complete the enquiry form below. We ask you to provide a high level of detail in order to allow us to assess if we are able to meet your needs accurately.
We receive more than 300 applications per year for support and are able to support only 20-30 projects, so providing the correct information is helpful and saves time and resources.
If your request is successful, on arrival of your book packages we request a prompt response to let us know they have arrived safely, this will ensure you stay on our dispatch list for the remainder of our 3 year rotation to receive further books. If the books have not arrived within 5 months please notify us immediately. We also appreciate your feedback so we can review our level of service and in order to keep our supporters abreast of the work we are doing.
